WASD to move, Space to shoot, and Shift to go slow.
(Press P & Enter if you want to skip the intro, though I recommended reading it for a first playthrough to understand the story. (Wait until the first dialogue finishes to skip, I think trying to do it too quickly freezes the game.))
My Highscore is 3700 is anyone wants to try and beat it ;) I'm pretty sure it's technically possible to beat but a little bit tricky and I don't feel like pulling it off right now.

[The Intro was supposed to have art, but I ran out of time, so bear through the pictureless storybook. The title screen is also slightly lacking but it's because I put most of my time into programming the fights and fixing bugs with said fights.]

I. NEED. MORE.
I got a final score of 2525 and my gosh what an awesome game that was. It was short, but I love the storyline and I love the battle. You should in all honesty make a sequel.
I'm so glad you liked it! This is technically set in a specific fantasy world I plan on using for multiple game projects in the future, but I'm also considering make an expanded version of this game with more levels and bosses and stuff if I get the free time. I even planned for a shopkeeper character to be in this with upgrades you can spend points on that I had to abandon because of the time limit. I don't know when or if I'll do it, but it has definitely crossed my mind :)
